In my new role, I have the opportunity to utilize my extensive experience as a Registered Dental Assistant, my patient interaction skills, and the knowledge I gained while teaching at Carrington College to manage the front office, schedule patient treatments, and coordinate overall care for patients at Infinite Smile Dental.
I love being a part of Infinite Smile Dental. I started working in the dental field more than 30 years ago. I completed the Registered Dental Assistant program at EDEN ROP and Fresno City College and taught at the RDA Program at Carrington. I value the interactions with our patients, building genuine connections with each person, and having wonderful coworkers. Dr. Kau's and my teammates' goals are the same as mine: making each patient happy with their smile.
Along with spending time with family, I enjoy playing bingo and watching the 49ers and Warriors play.
AXEL
FRONT OFFICE & DENTAL ASSISTANT
I love helping people through interactions that provide opportunities to educate and assist. A friend encouraged me to pursue a career in dentistry, and I appreciated it after obtaining my certificate.
My primary duties revolve around managing the front desk. I am responsible for checking in patients, confirming appointments and scheduling over the phone, assisting Dr. Kau, observing during procedures, and preparing and cleaning up patient rooms. As I gain more experience, I will be able to assume additional responsibilities required by Dr. Kau.
I enjoy my job because of the positive work environment and my colleagues. Assisting Dr. Kau is my favorite part, as it helps me learn and improve. I aim to get better over time.
I hit the gym in my free time and always carry headphones because music is a big part of my daily routine. On weekends, I either catch up with friends or game with online pals.
CASSIDY
PATIENT COORDINATOR & DENTAL ASSISTANT
My mother is Dr. Kau, and I grew up in a dental environment. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and am pursuing a degree in dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Due to my academic commitments, I can only work at the office during my breaks.
Working at Infinite Smile Dental allows me to learn about different procedures and techniques while getting to know our patients. In the front office, I answer the phones, schedule and confirm appointments, recall patients, verify insurance eligibility, and bill insurance. I handle our social media, creating content, logos, graphics, and flyers. I also work in our treatment rooms, assisting with procedures when needed. I love working with Dr. Kau because she is compassionate and understanding and cares greatly for her patients. Our team gets along well, sharing the common goal of providing the best care for our patients.
I love spending time with my dog, Cooper, when I'm not at school. I enjoy various arts and crafts like drawing and painting and even created some of the office's artwork. I also like doing my nails, sculpting, embroidery, and crocheting. Baking and cooking are some of my other interests.
PICHMOLIDA (PEACH)

I have worked as a RDA for over two years. A family member suggested that I try working in the dental field, and although I had no prior knowledge of dentistry, I was curious to learn more.
My primary responsibilities include assisting Dr. Kau, attending to the needs of patients, sterilizing equipment, coronal polishing, and taking X-rays. I enjoy knowing that patients leave the office with a positive experience.
I like to relax at home or spend quality time with friends and family in my free time. I also enjoy listening to music and attending concerts and music festivals.
ISABEL
REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
I always knew healthcare was the perfect career for me because I enjoy helping people. I have been working in the dental field for the past 11 years. My primary responsibilities include assisting Dr. Kau, providing patient care and education, and coordinating care. I am passionate about educating people on the importance of oral health and how it can impact their overall health. I love that my work allows me to make a difference in our community.
When at home, I enjoy cooking, baking, and organizing. I also love outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
SUKHMAN
STUDENT SHADOW
Since I was young, I have been fascinated by the dental field. Getting braces as a middle schooler piqued my interest in getting into the dental field as a career. I am a student in the Pre-Dental Advantage Program at the University of the Pacific. It is an accelerated program for students who are passionate about the dental field and want to pursue dental school post-graduation to become a dentist.
As a student shadow, I observe and ask staff members questions to learn more about the clinical setting. I assist in breaking down and sterilizing the operatories in any way I can. What I appreciate the most about my experience here is having the opportunity to witness the many facets of dentistry in action.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading a good book, writing dental articles for the school's newspaper, drinking coffee, going on nature walks & hikes, and spending time with my family.
