Background and Education

Dr. Kau grew up in the Bay Area with a passion for healthcare that began at an early age. She attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science. From there, she went on to the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Since 1988, Dr. Kau has practiced general dentistry, feeling certain she has chosen the right profession. For her, dentistry represents the perfect blend of science, medicine, and artistry, combined with the opportunity to form meaningful relationships and help patients achieve healthier, happier lives. Providing optimal oral health, educating patients on prevention, and seeing the positive impact of beautiful smiles make her work both professionally and personally rewarding.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Kau has lived in Dublin, where she spends her free time with her family. Her husband, Randy, is a marketing director, her son, Spencer, is a lawyer at a Bay Area firm, and her daughter, Cassidy, is in dental school. Cooper, their beloved Maltipoo, completes the family. Outside the office, Dr. Kau enjoys sewing, knitting, arts and crafts, reading, and discovering new places to dine. Family time is a cherished priority, and she values every moment spent with her loved ones.
